Watching HD from pc to tv flat screen?
I plan on buying a FW490 Sony Vaio laptop. It’s giving me the option to have an HD screen for 100 more. Now if I already have a HD tv (that’s much bigger) is it possible to connect the pc to the HD tv (while keeping the quality)? I would like to use it that way because it will be used both for tv watching and game (ie a flight simulator) playing. Plus I figure the smaller laptop HD screen is fairly useless, accept for travel…if the above is possible. Please clarify how this would work, too.

If you can make the connection between PC and TV with say an HDMI or DVI then you should be able to watch good quality videos on your TV.
